Seminar: Brazil & Norway Towards the Energy Future

BNCC invites you to a seminar about the transition into the energy future.  Panel discussions where science and realism will be in the forefront in conversations about where to go and how to get there.  Hear from Brazilian and Norwegian stakeholders dealing with the central energy sources in the energy transition and in contribution to the decarbonization trajectory. 

Participate in person, where you will benefit from networking with panel speakers and other stakeholders. There will be online participation for audiences not able to come to Oslo.

About the Event

Network of stakeholders from Brazil and Norway:

By combining our expertise and network of partners, we intend to create a participatory space with the engagement of experts from both Brazil and Norway to discuss transition strategies and implementation. 

Sverre Alvik  from DNV  will present insight from DNV’s Energy Transition Outlook, with focus on Scalability, Timeline and Maturity of the various energy carriers

Expert Panels

Divided into four pillars the seminar will cover discussions on Solar & Offshore Wind / Hydrogen & Ammonia  / Carbon Capture / Biofuel / 

All panels will have participation from science and academia in addition to the market stakeholders.

Round table and way forward

Transition Strategy and the way forward featuring World Bank, DNV, Rystad Energy, Equinor and SINTEF. 

Networking and speed meetings

After the seminar, there will be a mingling session in the DNB lounge and we will  facilitate speed meetings between stakeholders.

Each panel will discuss:

• Contribution to the trajectory of decarbonization. 
• How to fast track and scale up energy reform with relevant Brazilian and Norwegian corporates, clusters academia, and research, strengthening bilateral collaborations.
