The 2025 edition of Nor Shipping did not only mark the 60th anniversary of this event , but it also featured the very first Brazilian pavilions dedicated to promoting and strengthening the bilateral connections between Norway and Brazil within the maritime sector. BNCC had the pleasure of producing the two pavilions, in an effort to push business in both directions, paving the way for Brazilian companies to find suitable ground in Norway, and for Norwegian companies to know more about the Brazilian maritime ecosystem.

SEENEMAR Pavilion
The idea for the first pavilion came as a direct result of the new MOU that BNCC signed with the state of Rio de Janeiro in November 2024. The State Secretariat for Energy and Ocean Economy of Rio de Janeiro (SEENEMAR) was established in 2023 to strengthen and coordinate strategic initiatives in the energy and ocean economy sectors. BNCC and SEENAMR spent the better part of 2025s first semester to plan and execute this project that showed great success , with a considerable delegation traveling from Rio to Oslo to participate. SEENEMAR exhibited the very best that Rio de Janeiro has to offer in this industry, and an intense week of B2B meetings at the pavilion resulted in lots of new contacts and business connections.

BNCC Pavilion
The second pavilion was BNCCs own stand, where our main focus was to highlight our members who operate in the maritime industry, but also to set the stage for new connections bringing new Brazilian companies to Norway. Here we managed to deliver on both objectives, bringing 3 new companies into the spotlight in which one company has already joined BNCC as a member as a result of the Nor Shipping participation.

Our four pillars on the pavilion were , Ships , Finance , Services and Energy.
The last category was given extra attention as the focus on Biofuel is on the rise, and one of our sponsors on the pavilion is one of Brazil’s biggest Biofuel producers.
We would like to thank all the collaborators and sponsors. A special thanks to and to Sea1 Offshore for being the backbone of this project.
We would also especially like to thank the Brazilian ambassador Rodrigo de Azeredo Santos for opening the pavilion and also the coming ambassador to Norway to Brazil , Kjetil Elsebutangen for attending the opening of the pavilion. We would also like to thank Nor Shipping for their support in making all this come together.
After months of preparations and an intense week of events , meetings and networking, we can safely call it a success, a milestone achievement , and we are looking forward to 2027.

Sponsors of the BNCC pavilion were :
Sea1 Offshore – MROV – Stonex – Constellation – Be8
Light Structures – Hardanger Hydrogen Hub – Odda Technology – TP Shipping – Belleza Captol Group SA – Hellebust Consulting.
