Fabiana Michaelsen
After spending a decade coaching diplomats at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fabiana brings her experience to be the bridge between Norway and Brazil, connecting other countries and actors in contemporary art projects.
She now leverages her expertise at Labirinto, a platform that fosters artistic and critical thinking on contemporary art through a variety of projects spanning Brazil, Italy, France, Portugal, Spain, Norway, and others. Fabiana holds a Master’s degree in Culture, Environment, and Sustainability from Oslo University and has co-authored the first book for Norwegians learning Portuguese as a foreign language. Her contributions to strengthening Brazil-Norway relations have earned her recognition and merit from The Brazilian Embassy in Norway, awarded in 2018. That same year, she played a pivotal role in securing the production of a Norwegian-funded Brazilian film on indigenous peoples in Brazil.
