Mr Emerson Novais Lopes of the Brazilian Embassy joined as a Honorary Board Member of the Chamber. He is currently the head of the Economy, Trade and Science & Technology sectors at the Embassy of Brazil in Oslo. A career diplomat with 22 years of experience in the Brazilian external service, he has worked at Brazil’s diplomatic representations in Italy, Bolivia, Malaysia and the Netherlands before being posted to Norway.
