Right in the heart of Oslo, you can find nothing less than a sophisticated little cakery and coffee shop, where a Brazilian fashion designer and an insurance specialist from Venezuela teamed up to mix worldwide flavors and colors into delicious creations!
Gabriela Baldo moved to Norway 11 years ago, and together with Maria Alexandra from Venezuela, decided to open their own business in Norway in 2016, and in 2018 the two friends and food lovers got their first Food Truck. Already in 2019, the business was going well, and they opened the café at the end of 2019.
We bring the traditional flavors from our childhood into our recipes, mixed with our international experience, and the secrets from our Latin American grandmother’s kitchen are used in our cakes, Gabriela says.
The Cakery is a cozy little place in Kongens Gate 10 in Oslo, that welcomes you into an ambiance with cakes and coffee aroma flying in the air, and here you can also taste the traditional Brazilian “ Pāo de Queijo”!
The menu is filled with delicious homemade comfort food that fills your craving at any time of the day: breakfast, brunch, light lunch, and tea time.
